(2) National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases.

National Institute of Child Health.

(4) PNS Rahat, Karsaz.

(5) PNS Shifa, Defence Housing Society.
The P.N.S. Shifa Hospital is a 600-bed hospital and located at Defence Housing Society in Karachi, Pakistan.It is also operated by Pakistan Navy.

(7) Civil Hospital (Baba-e-Urdu Road).
Civil Hospital Karachi is a 1670-bed public hospital,and one of the teaching hospitals affiliated with Dow University of Health Sciences. The Sindh Institute of Skin Diseases is the only public sector skin hospital located at Regal Chowk in Karachi,Pakistan. It is a 50-bed dermatological hospital with over 4,000 OPD patients visit the hospital daily.

Karachi Industries

Karachi city has a large industrial base. The major industries of Karachi are Textiles, Pharmaceuticals, Steel and Automobiles. Apart from these, Karachi is also called as software outsourcing hub of Pakistan. Karachi also has a rapidly flourishing 'Free Zone' with an annual growth rate of nearly 6.5 per cent. There is an expo center has also been set up in Karachi and is now available to host many regional and International exhibitions.

Karachi city is also home of main automobile manufacturing companies like Toyota which is in the process of increasing production capacity to over 120,000 units per annum, and the Suzuki Motor Company is also located in Karachi. The manufacturing plant located in Bin Qasim has a production capacity of 150,000 vehicles per year. Many new manufacturing units are also being built near the Pakistan Steel Mill. Manghopir site is the biggest industrial area of Pakistan with more than 4000 factories. Now New Industrial zones have come in the past like Landhi, Korangi, FB Area, North Karachi and Port Qasim.
